Frameworks, that's what our first meeting of 2012 is all about!
Pablo Vos from Out of Site will show you how using the ColdFusion on Wheels framework can save you lots of work. ColdFusion on Wheels extends the CF language by adding out of the box ORM, validation, in-page helpers and loads of other useful features, and also a way to organize code in a MVC manner, so ColdFusion coding will become less elaborate en more fun to do in less time.
If Mura CMS is one of the easiest, most powerful ways of managing your website, then FW/1 is a perfect development companion for it. Designed with Mura CMS in mind, FW/1 is a straight-forward and elegant framework that developers can use to either extend the Mura CMS platform or create brand new custom functionality via plugins. In this talk we will be looking with Grant Shepert from Blue River at FW/1, how it works within a Mura CMS plugin, and some examples of how great the combination can become!
